UAE Startup Ecosystem Matures: Sheraa Pushes Founders Beyond Fast Fundraising to Sustainable Growth
Sharjah-based accelerator Sheraa is shifting UAE founders from prioritising rapid fundraising to focusing on customer retention, unit economics and long-term viability, while supporting recovery via an Entrepreneurship Resilience Fund. Sheraa also runs programmes like the Access Sharjah Challenge and aims to support 1,000 entrepreneurs by 2030.
