HUMAIN Invests in Arabic.AI to Advance Arabic-Language AI Solutions
HUMAIN, a PIF-backed AI company, has made a strategic investment in Arabic.AI/Tarjama to develop Arabic-first AI translation, document intelligence and multilingual solutions for Saudi enterprises. The partnership combines HUMAIN’s infrastructure and models with Arabic.AI/Tarjama’s language technology and linguistic expertise to accelerate deployments across the Kingdom.

HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund company focused on integrated artificial intelligence capabilities, has made a strategic investment in Arabic.AI/Tarjama and entered a partnership to develop Arabic-first AI solutions for enterprises. The deal pairs HUMAIN’s locally managed infrastructure, advanced computing capabilities and AI models with Arabic.AI’s enterprise language technologies and Tarjama’s 18-plus years of linguistic expertise to accelerate adoption of AI-powered translation, document intelligence and multilingual solutions across Saudi organisations and international markets.
“By combining HUMAIN’s integrated AI ecosystem with Arabic.AI’s deep expertise in Arabic language technologies, we aim to provide organisations with more effective tools for translation, document intelligence and multilingual AI,” said Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN.
Partnership mechanics and capabilities
The agreement is framed around combining complementary strengths: HUMAIN supplies an integrated AI ecosystem that includes locally managed infrastructure, advanced computing capabilities and sophisticated AI models, while Arabic.AI contributes its CleverSo translation management system, specialised Arabic translation models and experience integrating language technologies into enterprise workflows. The partnership explicitly builds on more than 18 years of experience in language technologies and enterprise solutions held by the Tarjama group.
Three priority areas have been identified for initial collaboration with a select group of early enterprise customers in Saudi Arabia:
- Translation Management System: A unified platform designed specifically for Arabic to support different teams across organisations, maintain consistency with approved glossaries, build an accumulated translation memory and give organisations control over where language assets are stored.
- Archive Digitisation Engine: Tools to convert legacy documents, records and media into searchable Arabic knowledge, including the ability to accurately extract handwritten text and content from deteriorated manuscripts, automatically classify materials and manage access permissions.
- Document Intelligence Agents: Intelligent agents that can read, review and draft contracts, tenders and other files while extracting clause-level data; features include automated compliance checks and support for drafting processes under human supervision.
The partnership emphasises moving Arabic-first concepts into real-world implementation. HUMAIN’s role will extend beyond compute and models to supporting rollouts and expanding the use of Arabic.AI’s solutions among organisations across the Kingdom. Arabic.AI will make available CleverSo, its Arabic-first translation management system, alongside specialised translation models and enterprise integration know-how.
Outlook
Nour Al Hassan, founder and CEO of Arabic.AI, framed the agreement as a practical step to bring Arabic-language AI into Saudi enterprise environments. “Through this partnership, Arabic.AI is bringing its platform, products and expertise directly to Saudi enterprises,” she said, adding that the collaboration will focus on “making Arabic-first AI solutions available to organisations across the Kingdom and helping them turn their ambitions into practical applications within real working environments.”
With HUMAIN’s infrastructure and Arabic.AI’s language technology stack aligned, the partnership targets scaled deployment of translation and document intelligence use cases—from digitising archival content and extracting handwritten text to automating clause-level contract review—delivered under human oversight and integrated into existing enterprise workflows.
