Dubai Future Foundation launches agentic AI accelerator for 33 government entities
Dubai Future Foundation, together with the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Dubai and DESC, has launched an Agentic AI for Government Services Accelerator to pair 33 Dubai government entities with Dubai AI Seal–certified tech firms to prototype and deploy agentic AI public services.

Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has launched the "Agentic AI for Government Services Accelerator" under the Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA) programme, bringing together 33 Dubai government entities to fast-track the prototyping and deployment of agentic AI-powered public services. Organised by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) in collaboration with Digital Dubai and the Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC), the accelerator will assess more than 300 public-facing use cases and pair participating entities with technology companies certified under the Dubai AI Seal.
"Excellence in government services goes beyond meeting customers’ current needs. It requires understanding how their lives are changing, anticipating what they will need next, and designing services around those needs," said Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai. "The Agentic AI for Government Services Accelerator represents an important step in this direction, harnessing data and artificial intelligence to move from responding to customers’ needs to anticipating them, and to create experiences that are smarter, more seamless and more personalised."
The accelerator aims to significantly shorten development cycles for government services by leveraging agentic AI capabilities that can identify tasks, analyse diverse datasets, model scenarios at speed, and develop and test intelligent solutions prior to rapid implementation. In its first phase the programme will prioritise use cases with the greatest potential to simplify customer journeys, improve service effectiveness and extend reach across the emirate.
Khalfan Juma Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, framed the initiative within the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to position Dubai as a global leader in adopting agentic AI across government services. "Artificial intelligence has opened new horizons for governments to imagine the future, design next-generation solutions and services, and bring them to life," Belhoul said. "Government entities can now significantly shorten traditional development cycles and processes, enabling them to enhance the quality and effectiveness of their services within much shorter timeframes."
The programme will require participating entities to collaborate with firms that hold the Dubai AI Seal, a DCAI initiative that recognises trusted AI companies to accelerate the growth of the emirate's AI sector. The partnership model for the accelerator emphasises speed and precision in design, development and deployment while maintaining digital compliance and governance standards.
- Organisers: Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), Dubai Future Foundation, Digital Dubai, Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC)
- Participants: 33 Dubai government entities
- Scope: Assessment of 300+ public-facing use cases
- Certification requirement: Technology partners certified under the Dubai AI Seal
Yousuf Hamad Al Shaibani, CEO of the Dubai Electronic Security Centre, highlighted the security and governance imperatives: "Our role at the Dubai Electronic Security Centre is to ensure this transformation is built on strong foundations of security, governance and trust from day one. Cybersecurity cannot be an afterthought in the adoption of AI. It must be embedded at every stage, from planning and design to operation and monitoring."
Looking ahead, organisers say the accelerator will not only produce deployable, agentic AI solutions for immediate public use but also strengthen the emirate’s digital infrastructure and governance frameworks to support ongoing AI adoption. Digital Dubai emphasised its role in enabling integrated infrastructure, trusted data and governance that allow government teams to turn promising ideas into scalable services. If successful, the programme could accelerate the rollout of personalised, anticipatory government services across Dubai and provide a replicable model for rapid public-sector AI deployment.
