Arep Saudi , an education-technology and research-enablement company, has closed a pre-seed funding round led by Golden Assets Investment as it moves to scale digital laboratory training and supplies across Saudi Arabia. The startup will use the new capital to advance its technology products, broaden operations in the Kingdom and evaluate regional expansion at a later stage. "This support has helped Areep develop solutions aligned with the needs of Saudi Arabia’s education and research sectors," the company said, highlighting the role of accelerator and national programs in shaping its product roadmap. Arep Saudi has built a hybrid model aimed at addressing persistent skills and sourcing gaps in educational and research laboratories. Its core offering combines an interactive learning platform that hosts specialized content on laboratory experiments and knowledge repositories, with hands-on workshops delivered in educational labs. Parallel to the training stack, Arep is developing a digital marketplace to supply scientific equipment and consumables to institutions.
