Dubai will host Arabian Travel Market 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 14–17 September, convening more than 210 speakers and contributors across more than 80 sessions to debate artificial intelligence, aviation, traveller confidence, investment and resilience. The four‑day trade‑only event will stage programming across the Global Stage, Future Stage and Experience Hub, and marks the 33rd edition of the conference. "Building A Resilient Industry Through Collaboration," the Ministerial Debate scheduled for the opening day, will bring together government and international representatives to examine coordinated destination messaging, crisis communication and policy alignment. The opening programme is headlined by H.E. Shaikha Al Nuwais, UN Tourism Secretary‑General, who will deliver the UN Tourism welcome address, and H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri , UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism. The Ministerial Debate will include representatives from the UAE, UN Tourism, Bahrain and the European Commission, underlining the event's governmental focus and the emphasis on public‑private cooperation in sustaining tourism confidence. Programme highlights and technology focus Future Stage opener: Dr Marwan Alzarouni, CEO, AI at Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, will launch a programme that treats AI as a mainstream commercial force rather than a demonstration. Travel technology participation: executives from Trip.com, Wego, MakeMyTrip, Sabre, Tripadvisor and Visa will speak on agentic AI, digital distribution and the evolving travel supply chain.
