Saudi agricultural fund launches digital transformation strategy at LEAP The Agricultural Development Fund has unveiled a comprehensive digital transformation strategy at the fifth edition of LEAP in Riyadh, aiming to streamline beneficiary services, boost operational efficiency and foster innovation across its electronic services and agricultural financing products. The strategy was presented at the global technology conference held under the theme “Into New Worlds.” “[The strategy will] enable innovation, strengthen digital excellence, and improve the beneficiary experience and the services provided,” the fund wrote on its official X account when announcing the new plan. The fund said the initiative is designed to deliver a more integrated beneficiary experience by unifying access to electronic services and financing instruments for farmers and agribusinesses. Key pillars include the development of innovative digital solutions, expanded use of data and analytics for decision-making, strengthened governance and digital excellence, and improved institutional efficiency and data quality. The strategy also emphasises support for innovation and sustainability, aligning with the Kingdom’s broader digital objectives. Digital service integration: the fund intends to make its electronic services more cohesive, reducing friction for beneficiaries across financing products. Data and analytics: increased use of data-driven decision-making to inform financing, risk assessment and program design. Governance and quality: measures to strengthen digital governance and improve data quality across the organisation. Innovation and sustainability: a focus on solutions that support sustainable agricultural practices and new business models in the sector. During LEAP the fund was honoured by the National Information Center at the Saudi Data and AI Authority for its work integrating services within the Tawakkalna national application.
