UAE National Agriculture Centre Partners with Growtech Middle East to drive sustainable farming

Growtech Middle East will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 26–28 October 2026, with the UAE National Agriculture Centre (NAC) joining as Strategic Government Partner to sharpen the event’s focus on Emirati farming, agricultural innovation and food security. The partnership commits both organisations to support UAE farmers, raise farming standards and accelerate the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices and technologies through a combined exhibition and conference programme.

"UAE farmers are at the heart of the country’s agricultural ambitions and key partners in achieving sustainable food security targets," said Sultan Salem Al Shamsi, Director General, National Agriculture Centre. "Our partnership with Growtech Middle East provides a vital platform that brings together local farmers and those interested in the agricultural sector with decision-makers, industry leaders, researchers and international experts to showcase innovative, practical solutions suited to the diversity of farming environments and climate challenges."

The collaboration will spotlight NAC initiatives such as UAE Good Agricultural Practices (UAE G.A.P.), which aims to raise production quality, efficiency and sustainability, and the Integrated Farmer Centres project. Implemented with government and private sector partners, the Integrated Farmer Centres provide a bundled system of services — including crop receiving, logistics and streamlined post‑harvest operations — intended to improve marketing efficiency, strengthen market access for Emirati produce and reduce production losses.

Growtech Middle East arrives as part of Growtech’s 25‑year legacy. The brand, headquartered in Antalya, Türkiye, now has a footprint that includes Dubai, Lagos and Rimini. Alan Kelly, Commercial & Strategy Director, InD Group, said the NAC partnership "brings an important government dimension to Growtech Middle East, strengthening the platform’s ability to connect the priorities of the UAE’s agricultural sector with the expertise, technologies and solutions shaping its future."

Exhibition content will span seeds and seedlings, plant nutrition and fertilisers, plant protection, greenhouse technologies, irrigation systems, agricultural machinery, poultry, animal health, livestock and aquaculture. Engin Er, Exhibition Director, Growtech Events, described the Dubai edition as "more than an exhibition – it is a platform where technology, knowledge, investment and industry expertise come together to address the challenges shaping the future of food production."

Conference programme and partners

  • Future Food Resilience Summit — featuring speakers from the National Agriculture Centre, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and other institutions, focusing on resilient and sustainable food systems.
  • MENA Regenerative Agriculture Summit — developed with Event Impact Partner Goumbook, targeting regenerative approaches and climate resilience.
  • CPD‑certified specialised seminars — covering aquaculture, livestock, poultry, beekeeping, biostimulants and Emirati farming to offer practical skills and new technologies to farmers and professionals.

The event will be supported by Nature for Environmental and Agricultural Solutions as Gold Sponsor; Enjaz Trading and Agricultural Technology Co. as Silver Sponsor; and MONTEL as Associate Sponsor. Programming will explore controlled‑environment agriculture, water efficiency and AI‑enabled farming — themes aligned with the UAE National Food Security Strategy 2051, which prioritises advanced farming technologies, sustainable production systems and resilient food supply chains.

Organisers say the partnership and the event aim to connect farmers, policymakers, industry leaders, innovators and investors to translate practical opportunities into on‑farm adoption. With the show staged in Hall 8 at Dubai World Trade Centre, Growtech Middle East 2026 positions itself as a convening point for the UAE’s push to strengthen local production, improve market access for national produce and inspire the next generation to engage with smart farming and AI in agriculture.
