AutoVRse, Maya Research and IHLD MedTech secure fresh capital as India Post pilots drone mail; GCC and deeptech moves follow

Industrial AI startup AutoVRse raised $2.4 million in a round co-led by Singularity AMC and Lumikai, voice-AI firm Maya Research closed a $1.9 million seed round led by South Park Commons, and IHLD MedTech received a $3 million strategic investment from Singapore-listed UltraGreen.ai as part of commitments expected to reach $12 million. On the logistics front, Skye Air Mobility partnered with the Department of Posts to roll out drone-based mail delivery across 150 routes in Himachal Pradesh and Assam, while several global capability and expansion moves — including a new Global Capability Centre by N-able in Bengaluru and InCred Capital opening a New York office — marked an active day for the startup ecosystem.

"The company plans to utilise the capital to accelerate product development, strengthen customer integrations, and expand across North America, Europe, the GCC, and India," said AutoVRse in a statement outlining its strategy following the $2.4 million raise.

AutoVRse, which the company says serves more than 500,000 users globally and has crossed $8 million in annual recurring revenue, will deploy the new funds to speed product work and broaden geographic reach. Maya Research — founded in 2025 and building voice-first AI interfaces for emerging markets — claims over 3 million app downloads across India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East; its $1.9 million seed is intended to push further into those markets. IHLD MedTech will use the UltraGreen.ai investment to scale AI-driven platforms for chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring and preventive care, part of a larger capital commitment that the parties expect to total $12 million.

  • Funding and scale: AutoVRse ($2.4M), Maya Research ($1.9M), IHLD MedTech ($3M strategic now; $12M total commitments expected).
  • Product and market focus: industrial AI and SaaS (AutoVRse); voice-first AI interfaces for emerging markets (Maya Research); AI-powered chronic care and remote monitoring (IHLD MedTech).
  • Adoption and traction: AutoVRse — 500,000+ users and $8M ARR; Maya Research — 3M+ app downloads.

Beyond funding, corporate and public–private initiatives underscored wider ecosystem momentum. N-able announced a Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru to support engineering, product development, AI innovation and security operations, with plans to expand headcount through 2026. InCred Capital launched a New York office and named Arunava Das CEO for North America to serve international investors seeking India exposure. Smartworks expanded its managed office footprint in Singapore, exceeding 50,000 sq ft in the city-state.

Strategic partnerships and deeptech collaboration also featured prominently. byteXL tied up with KPMG in India for industry-focused skilling and certification programmes; CuberaTech India partnered with Grant Thornton Bharat to advance AI-led advertising and audience intelligence; and deeptech incubator iCreate signed an MoU with France's Hauts-de-France Regional Council to build a bilateral corridor supporting HealthTech, ClimateTech, AgriTech, Aerospace, Defence and Physical AI startups.

Looking ahead, the combination of fresh capital, strategic corporate moves and state-backed pilots signals near-term opportunities for product deployment and market entry. Drone mail trials across 150 routes in Himachal Pradesh and Assam aim to demonstrate operational viability in difficult terrain, while the new GCCs and international offices position firms to tap cross-border demand. With healthtech accelerators like Lumos Health Advisory opening applications and defence–AI partnerships moving forward, expect investors and corporates to watch adoption metrics and regulatory outcomes closely as these initiatives scale.
