Stones Jordan Expands Interior Design Operations in Amman, Jordan

Stones Jordan has expanded its interior design operations in Amman, strengthening its ability to manage residential, commercial and hospitality projects from its Dabouq studio and extending services across Jordan. Founded in Amman in 2000 by brothers Majd and Rami Abu Ghoush, the company said the expansion centralises interior design, interior architecture, technical documentation, landscape design, material coordination, contractor coordination and site supervision into a more integrated project delivery model. Stones Jordan reports more than 350 completed residential and commercial projects across Jordan and the GCC.

"The expansion strengthens the company’s ability to coordinate residential, commercial and hospitality projects from its studio in Dabouq, Amman, bringing interior design, interior architecture, technical documentation, landscape design, material coordination, contractor coordination and site supervision into a more integrated project delivery structure," the firm said in its announcement.

Stones Jordan’s expanded offering covers the full sequence that links an initial design concept to a completed space. Services listed by the company include consultation, property assessment, space planning, concept development, technical drawings, lighting planning, material and finish selection, furniture coordination, contractor documentation, procurement coordination, scheduled site supervision and final handover, adjusted to the scope of each assignment.

Integrated design-to-supervision model

A central element of the expansion is Stones Jordan’s design-to-supervision model, which keeps the design team involved during construction to ensure drawings are developed with real project execution conditions in mind. For supervised projects in Amman and elsewhere in Jordan, the company coordinates with contractors, reviews materials and project information, documents site progress and addresses design-related issues while physical construction is carried out by appointed contractors.

The company says this multidisciplinary approach is intended to reduce fragmentation between design and execution, allowing the same design direction to remain connected through concept, documentation and on-site delivery rather than requiring clients to coordinate separate teams independently.
