Processed food exports hit new peak
Processed-food exports from Egypt rose to USD 4.47bn in the first seven months of 2026, while broader business moves include a $2bn Series E for AI coding startup Cognition AI, a potential EGX listing for MNT-Halan’s local arm, and a large Egypt data-centre JV led by Vodafone Egypt, Elsewedy Electric and Cassava Technologies.
