Microsoft announces technology framework with UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia at UNGA
Microsoft announced a new Middle East technology framework focused on the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, committing more than $10 billion through 2030 to expand cloud and AI infrastructure, connectivity and digital resilience. The plan references the Stargate Initiative, a large data-centre joint venture with G42 and OpenAI, and includes expanded AI for Good Labs and cybersecurity cooperation.
