Omani student's innovation turns noise into electricity

Omani engineering student Amna Kayed Al Jabri developed a prototype system that harvests sound in high-noise environments, converts it to heat and then uses thermoelectric modules to generate electricity, earning her a spot representing Oman at the London International Youth Science Forum.
