Omantel studies satellite services with GalaxySpace
Omantel has entered a technical collaboration with China’s GalaxySpace to study LEO satellite services and direct-to-cell technology, conducting trials and commercial studies to assess how satellite services could complement Oman’s terrestrial networks. The work will focus on proof-of-concept trials, technical evaluations and potential service models for remote, maritime, enterprise and IoT use cases.
