US approves funds for Jordan's water desalination project
The US International Development Finance Corporation approved financing and political-risk insurance to advance Jordan's $6 billion national seawater desalination project on the Gulf of Aqaba, supporting construction, operation and maintenance led by Meridiam and Suez alongside the National Carrier Project Company.
