UAE's Mubadala weighs $6.3 billion AI data center investment in Japan
Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala, via its AI vehicle MGX, is considering up to ¥1 trillion (≈ $6.3bn) to build a 500MW AI data centre in Akita, Japan, being developed by US startup BitGrid with Japanese IT firm S2 and targeting operations in the early 2030s.
