Abu Dhabi-based autonomous aviation company launches certification programme for hybrid cargo aircraft

Abu Dhabi-based LODD Autonomous has launched a formal certification programme with the UAE's GCAA for its Hili hybrid VTOL cargo aircraft, aiming to certify a supervised-autonomous cargo UAV with a 250 kg payload and up to 700 km range. The programme is overseen by the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council with support from Abu Dhabi Mobility and ADIO's SAVI Cluster.
