Egypt rises five places in Global Entrepreneurship Index, retains North Africa’s top ranking
Egypt rose five places in the GEM Entrepreneurship Index to 35th and retained North Africa's top entrepreneurship ranking, with Cairo hosting the majority of startups and a range of government-backed incubators and initiatives supporting fintech, transport tech and women entrepreneurs.
