Qatar’s Baladna to invest $3.3bn in Syrian farming project as Gulf flows grow
Qatar’s Baladna Food Industries will invest $3.3bn to develop a 2,400 sq km farming and food-processing project in Syria through its new subsidiary Baladna Syria, targeting crops, dairy and textiles and using AI-enabled precision agriculture.
