Egypt launched BelMasry, a free state-built AI platform from the Communications Ministry’s Applied Innovation Center to process Egyptian colloquial Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic and translate between Arabic and 50 foreign languages; private startups Nanovate, Intella and TokenAI are separately developing Arabic-dialect voice and model solutions.
