UAE business giant Al Ashram joins forces with Africa’s largest network provider to build AI data centers across the continent
Dubai-based investor Tarek Al Ashram is backing a new entity, Africa Data Hub Holding Ltd., to build an initial 150MW of AI-focused data centre capacity across Africa in partnership with MTN, beginning in Nigeria and South Africa. The venture aims to serve MTN's internal compute needs and provide commercial cloud and enterprise capacity.
