Shorages Launches Q-Com as Quick-Commerce Demand Accelerates Across the Middle East
Shorages launched Q-Com, a quick-commerce fulfillment service in Dubai that positions inventory closer to customers and integrates warehouse, order and transport management to enable deliveries within 30 minutes. The service debuts in partnership with noon Send for Business and will be rolled out first to existing Shorages customers.

Shorages, a technology-enabled fulfillment infrastructure platform serving e‑commerce and omnichannel brands across the Middle East, officially unveiled Q‑Com — its quick‑commerce fulfillment service — at an invitation‑only industry event held on 4 September at Moon Bar by Sana, Jumeirah Mina Al Salam in Dubai. Launched in strategic collaboration with noon Send for Business to support last‑mile delivery, Q‑Com is designed to position inventory closer to customers and connect order management, warehouse operations and delivery so eligible orders can be delivered within 30 minutes once packed and ready for pickup. The service will initially be offered to existing Shorages customers as part of the company’s wider fulfillment ecosystem.
“Quick commerce is no longer relevant only to the largest platforms. Customers increasingly expect speed from every brand, but building the operational infrastructure behind that promise is complex and expensive. Q‑Com gives brands a practical way to offer faster delivery using the technology, fulfillment network and operational expertise they already trust from Shorages,” said Tolga Neftci, Co‑Founder and CEO of Shorages.
The launch event brought together founders, executives and professionals from e‑commerce, logistics, fulfillment and last‑mile delivery sectors to discuss operational requirements and infrastructure needed to scale faster delivery without adding unnecessary complexity. Shorages presented Q‑Com as an integrated layer within its existing suite of services, which already includes warehousing, B2B and B2C fulfillment, same‑day and next‑day delivery, cross‑border logistics and value‑added services.
Q‑Com is underpinned by Shorages’ integrated warehouse, order and transport management technology. The platform connects e‑commerce channels, marketplaces and delivery partners so orders can flow automatically from checkout to fulfillment, while giving brands real‑time visibility over stock and order status. That integrated workflow is intended to let brands add a quick‑commerce option without duplicating systems, teams or facilities.
How Q‑Com fits into the Shorages ecosystem
- Inventory placement: Shorages positions stock closer to customers to reduce delivery time.
- Integrated technology: Warehouse, order and transport management systems are linked to allow automated order flow and visibility.
- Last‑mile partnership: noon Send for Business will support the last‑mile component of Q‑Com deliveries.
- Service level: Eligible orders can be delivered within 30 minutes after packing and pickup readiness.
- Customer rollout: Q‑Com will be introduced first to existing Shorages clients, enabling brands already using Shorages to offer a faster delivery tier.
By embedding quick commerce into its existing platform, Shorages aims to help smaller and mid‑sized brands respond to rising consumer expectations for speed without investing in separate logistics operations. The model prioritises maintaining centralised visibility across inventory and orders even as service levels accelerate.
Looking ahead, the success of Q‑Com will hinge on the ability to scale the network of proximate inventory locations and grow last‑mile capacity through partners such as noon Send for Business. If adoption among existing customers proves strong, Shorages could expand Q‑Com availability more broadly across its client base, offering brands a turnkey approach to instant delivery while leveraging the provider’s warehouse and transport management technology.
