Serial entrepreneur and bestselling author Ferhat Kacmaz launches HUNDREDHANDS in Dubai

Dubai-based serial entrepreneur Ferhat Kacmaz has launched HUNDREDHANDS, a new venture that delivers artificial intelligence as a physical "digital employee" for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Built out of Kacmaz’s Dubai technology company German Techperts, HUNDREDHANDS supplies a mini computer that runs on dedicated hardware in the customer’s office and is managed entirely through WhatsApp. The startup is beginning with a limited roll-out in the German-speaking market and plans an expansion into the UAE and the wider Gulf region.

"The best user interface is the one nobody has to learn," Kacmaz said, outlining the product’s design philosophy and the decision to use WhatsApp as the sole management interface. The system supports text and voice messages — "including voice messages from the car" — allowing entrepreneurs to interact with their AI employee without new dashboards, logins or training.

HUNDREDHANDS targets a segment Kacmaz says has been "largely ignored": SMEs that cannot afford rising staff costs and are too small to attract large agencies and consultancies. The startup’s device is intended to handle routine office tasks such as quotations, invoices, payment reminders, customer enquiries, social media, research, scheduling and reporting — effectively providing "the operational capacity of a much larger organisation" without additional hires.

Product and technical approach

Kacmaz developed the digital employee initially for his own businesses and moved to commercialise it after repeated demand from fellow entrepreneurs. "At some point every entrepreneur I met asked me the same question: can I have that too?" he said. In a launch interview with Business Street Magazine, he summed up the company’s ambition: "Advisors give advice. We deliver hands."
