Saudi PropTech Startup Rela Secures Undisclosed Strategic Investment from Yazeed Al Rajhi & Brothers Holding to Expand Workforce Housing Network
Rela, a Saudi workforce-housing proptech startup launched in early 2026 by Salman Al Jabrain, has secured an undisclosed strategic investment from Yazeed Al Rajhi & Brothers Holding to expand its network and operational capacity across Saudi Arabia.

Rela, a Saudi workforce housing startup launched in early 2026 by Salman Al Jabrain, has secured an undisclosed strategic investment from Yazeed Al Rajhi & Brothers Holding. The holding company has joined Rela as both an investor and strategic partner; the financial value of the transaction and the equity stake were not disclosed. Rela said it will use the partnership to expand its network of workforce housing properties and residential complexes across Saudi Arabia while strengthening operational capabilities.
"Rela provides technology-enabled workforce accommodation and property management services," the company describes, operating a model that combines licensed accommodation with property preparation, management, operations and maintenance "through a single platform."
Platform-led operations, not a marketplace
Rela differentiates itself from simple listing or marketplace models by managing properties and associated services directly for corporate customers. The startup connects property owners, developers and investors with companies that need accommodation for employees and workers, then prepares and operates those assets to the requirements of its corporate clients. Supporting services include employee transportation and catering, enabling Rela to offer an integrated service rather than requiring customers to coordinate with multiple vendors.
The company’s technology enables corporate clients to reserve accommodation, monitor occupancy levels and allocate employees across different properties. Rela also provides operational data related to accommodation networks, giving customers greater visibility into occupancy and property use. This model is aimed at businesses that need to accommodate large or distributed workforces while maintaining consistent operating and service standards across multiple locations.
Target markets and geographic focus
Rela targets industries that typically need managed workforce accommodation, including construction, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, retail and operations and maintenance. It is positioning itself to serve companies involved in major projects that require accommodation for large numbers of workers over extended periods — situations that may also require furnishing, ongoing maintenance, worker transport and meal services.
- Core services: property preparation, operations, maintenance, transportation, catering
- Industries served: construction, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, retail, O&M
- Primary market: Saudi Arabia, with an initial focus on locations near major projects, industrial facilities and logistics operations
Following the investment, Rela plans to work with additional property owners, developers and investors to bring more buildings and residential complexes onto its platform. The expansion is expected to increase the number of locations available to Rela’s customers and strengthen its ability to support companies with workforces operating across different parts of the Kingdom. The holding partner’s involvement is also intended to bolster Rela’s operating capacity as it scales shortly after entering the market.
Outlook
Rela’s next growth phase will hinge on its ability to add suitable properties to its network, secure long-term corporate customers and maintain consistent accommodation and service standards as operations expand. The company intends to prioritise scaling within Saudi Arabia by connecting real estate assets with corporate demand for managed workforce accommodation and managing those assets end-to-end. With Yazeed Al Rajhi & Brothers Holding onboard as both investor and strategic partner, Rela moves into an early expansion stage as it seeks to translate its platform and integrated service model into a broader national footprint.
