Revvity Launches "Signals for Startups" to Empower Early Biotechs
Revvity Signals Software launched "Signals for Startups," a packaged, startup-friendly deployment of its enterprise Signals informatics to help early-stage biotechs establish scalable data governance and investor-ready workflows. The program targets pre-series and venture-backed life sciences companies and will roll out in late July 2026 across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Revvity, Inc.’s Revvity Signals Software business has launched "Signals for Startups," a program aimed at helping early-stage biotechnology companies build scalable informatics foundations from day one. The initiative combines enterprise-grade Signals software with personalized onboarding and a pre-configured best-practice setup targeted mostly at the development of large and small molecules. The offering is slated for release in late July 2026 across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and includes bundled licensing options designed to match the growth patterns of pre-series and venture-backed companies.
“Signals for Startups addresses a critical need for emerging biotech companies that want to move fast without creating data and workflow challenges that limit their ability to scale,” said Kevin Willoe, president of Revvity Signals Software. “By combining startup-friendly access with guided onboarding and scalable Signals workflows, we are helping early-stage teams build the digital foundation they need to advance discovery, support investor readiness and grow with confidence.”
The program targets a common pain point for nascent biotechs: pressure to accelerate discovery while lacking mature IT, analytics and operational infrastructure. Revvity positions Signals for Startups as an entry-level route to avoid the “broken data systems” and costly rework that often follow ad hoc tool selection in early research stages. The pre-configured setup is intended to give research teams “a scientific environment at the very core of drug discovery,” enabling more productive laboratory work and harmonization of data formats across R&D workflows.
Key elements of the Signals for Startups package include:
- Enterprise Signals software adapted with startup-friendly licensing and bundled options to scale as research portfolios grow.
- Personalized onboarding and guided deployment to reduce implementation friction for teams with limited IT resources.
- Pre-configured best-practice workflows focused on large and small molecule development to standardize data capture and governance.
- A focus on harmonizing data formats across discovery workflows to support reproducibility and downstream analytics.
Revvity says the approach is designed not only to increase the immediate productivity of R&D teams but also to support investor readiness by establishing governance and workflow traceability that investors and partners increasingly expect. By packaging licensing that aligns with early funding stages, the company aims to let startups scale their informatics footprint without facing steep upfront costs or disruptive migrations later on.
Signals for Startups follows broader industry trends toward providing specialized, lower-friction digital tools for smaller life sciences organisations that may lack in-house informatics expertise. Revvity’s program explicitly addresses the lifecycle from early discovery through growth, positioning its Signals workflows as a foundation that can evolve with a startup’s pipeline.
Outlook
With a late-July 2026 launch across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Revvity’s Signals for Startups will be evaluated by early biotechs on its ability to speed experimental throughput while maintaining data quality and governance. If successful, the offering could reduce costly rework cycles and improve partner and investor confidence by delivering standardized, scalable informatics early in a company’s development. For investors and accelerator programs focused on life sciences, the program presents an option to de-risk portfolio companies’ technical foundations without large initial IT investments.
