Preckon AI Platform Launches In Dubai: Revolutionizing UAE Construction With Advanced Intelligence And Digital Transformation
Preckon, an AI-native construction intelligence platform co-founded by Canadian and Indian entrepreneurs, has launched in Dubai to automate pre-construction planning, optimise cost estimation and drive digital transformation across the GCC construction sector.

Preckon, an AI-native construction intelligence platform developed by Canadian and Indian entrepreneurs, has officially launched in Dubai, marking the company's entry into the UAE market and a push to accelerate digital transformation across the GCC construction sector. The platform — designed to automate pre-construction planning, optimise cost estimation, analyse engineering drawings and tender documents, and provide real-time project intelligence — was inaugurated in Dubai by Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, IFS, Consul General of India in Dubai. The launch was facilitated by Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala, who supported stakeholder engagement, ecosystem partnerships, branding, government outreach and the regional market-entry strategy.
"Preckon was built with a vision to transform the construction industry through artificial intelligence and intelligent automation," said Mr. Sreedhar Gonepally (Sunny), Co‑Founder of Preckon and CEO & Co‑Founder of AIGCC LLC‑FZ. "Our objective is to help the industry make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions while improving efficiency and reducing project costs. The UAE provides an exceptional environment for innovation, and we are excited to contribute to the region’s digital transformation journey through strategic partnerships and advanced AI solutions."
Platform capabilities and regional engagement
Preckon's feature set, as presented at the launch, targets several persistent pain points in construction delivery across the GCC. The company says its AI models automate planning workflows, produce optimised cost estimates, extract and interpret information from engineering drawings and tender documents, and surface real‑time intelligence intended to reduce delays and support data‑driven decisions by contractors, consultants, developers and infrastructure companies.
The venture was co‑founded by Mr. Gonepally alongside Mr. Uma Mahesh Mukkara, a technology entrepreneur and Co‑Founder of Preckon. Gonepally also serves as President of the Canada Chapter of the World Telugu IT Council (WTITC), underscoring the Canadian‑Indian collaboration behind the startup.
Strategic meetings and local partnerships
- Following the launch, the Preckon delegation held strategic talks with senior officials at Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) to explore establishing regional operations in Ras Al Khaimah, an emirate experiencing growth in construction, industrial development, tourism and infrastructure projects.
- The team also met leadership at Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) to discuss collaboration on artificial intelligence, construction technology, innovation and research commercialisation within Sharjah’s innovation ecosystem.
- Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala was credited with end‑to‑end support for stakeholder engagement and the regional expansion roadmap that facilitated these discussions.
Official response and outlook
At the launch, Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy welcomed the initiative, praising the vision behind Preckon and noting increasing collaboration between India, Canada and the UAE in emerging technologies. He said the UAE continues to offer "a dynamic innovation ecosystem for global technology companies" and encouraged entrepreneurs to leverage the country’s business‑friendly environment to scale internationally.
With meetings held at RAKEZ and SRTIP, Preckon’s entry signals a concerted effort to pair AI‑driven construction software with local enablers across the UAE. If the company translates pilot projects into broader adoption, its stated benefits — faster decision making, lower costs and reduced project delays through automated intelligence — could influence procurement, estimating and planning workflows across GCC construction firms in the coming years.
