Otech, RemedyPartner to LaunchAI-Powered Platform
Otech (Omantel's technology arm) is collaborating with Remedy to launch RISE Talent, an AI-powered enterprise platform for strategic planning, workforce analytics and talent management across organisations in Oman. Remedy, a startup founded in 2020 out of Omantel Innovation Labs, will move its solution toward enterprise deployment with Otech's support.

Otech, the technology arm of Omantel, has announced a strategic collaboration with Remedy to launch RISE Talent, an AI-powered enterprise platform for strategic planning and enterprise performance management. The partnership will see Otech participate in development and deployment of the platform within its enterprise environment, with the aim of aligning strategic objectives, improving human capital management and delivering AI-driven workforce analytics across organisations in the Sultanate of Oman.
“This partnership represents an extension of Otech’s commitment to supporting innovation and enabling technology startups to transform their ideas and solutions into enterprise applications that deliver tangible impact,” said Eng Maqbool bin Salim al Wahaibi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Otech. “We believe that building a competitive digital economy requires an integrated environment that brings together homegrown innovation, technology expertise and the actual needs of organisations.”
The RISE Talent platform was developed by Remedy, a startup founded in 2020 that emerged from Omantel Innovation Labs and is part of Omantel’s investment portfolio. Remedy specialises in applied artificial intelligence, performance diagnostics and decision intelligence, and positions generative AI as a practical tool for enterprise execution. Turki bin Abdulhafidh al Balushi, Co‑founder of Remedy, said the partnership with Otech will help move the company’s solutions from development to enterprise implementation: “Our partnership with Otech enables us to move our solutions from the development stage to practical implementation within enterprise environments, while benefiting from Otech’s technology expertise to better understand organisational needs and deliver more integrated and scalable solutions.”
Platform capabilities and deployment
- Strategic alignment via Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) with cascading across organisational levels
- Talent management and employee experience tools, including competency framework management, recruitment, learning and development, performance management and career pathways
- AI-powered workforce analytics and digital self-service capabilities to support decision-making and operational efficiency
- Applied generative AI for performance diagnostics and decision intelligence
Otech will collaborate on tailoring and deploying these capabilities within its enterprise environment, leveraging its technology expertise to integrate RISE Talent into existing systems and processes. Eng Al Wahaibi emphasised the strategic rationale for the move, noting that “artificial intelligence is one of the most important technologies of the future and a key driver in reshaping business models, improving operational efficiency, fostering innovation and enabling organisations to make smarter and more forward-looking decisions.”
Remedy positions RISE Talent as a solution that connects strategy with execution, improves performance management and delivers real‑time insights for leaders and employees. The company’s focus on practical AI applications aims to address complex organisational and human capital challenges by offering decision intelligence that can be embedded into enterprise workflows.
Outlook
The collaboration aligns with national priorities on innovation, digital transformation and capability development under Oman Vision 2040, and is intended to boost local content and strengthen the role of Omani startups in producing locally built technology solutions. Beyond immediate deployments within Otech, the partners expect the platform to open broader opportunities for tech solutions that serve diverse business needs across the Sultanate and potentially expand regionally and internationally as scalable enterprise software.
