Riyadh-based startup platform Blossom Accelerator has launched DominAite, a three-month national AI scale accelerator and investment platform designed to grow high-potential AI-native startups in and from Saudi Arabia. The programme is supported by the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) and aligns with the Saudi Council of Ministers’ declaration of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence. Applications for DominAite close on April 18, 2026, and selected teams will receive venture capital through Blossom Capital alongside technical enablement and Saudi market-entry support.
"DominAite combines venture capital through Blossom Capital, advanced technical enablement, Saudi market-entry support and access to enterprise, government and investor networks within a single curated platform targeting early-stage startups with data- and compute-intensive AI solutions," Blossom said in its announcement.
Context and programme details
Blossom Accelerator, which has operated in Riyadh since 2017, designed DominAite to be a nationally backed route for AI founders to scale in the Kingdom. The NTDP is supporting the programme through its Empowering Accelerators product; NTDP is described in the announcement as "one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship national programmes" focused on accelerating the digital economy across deep technologies including AI, robotics, semiconductors, health technologies and sustainability.
The initiative explicitly positions itself as a delivery mechanism for the Kingdom’s 2026 Year of Artificial Intelligence. "DominAite is explicitly aligned with the Saudi Council of Ministers’ declaration of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence," the announcement adds, signalling that the programme seeks to connect startups to national priorities and decision-makers.

DominAite is open to both Saudi-based founders and international AI companies seeking a structured route into the Kingdom. The proposition combines capital, technical enablement and marketplace access — including government and enterprise pilots — in a single curated platform, aiming to reduce friction for startups that require heavy data and compute resources to scale.
Outlook
The launch comes as Saudi Arabia continues to cultivate an AI startup ecosystem. The announcement notes an "impressive increase in the number and quality of Saudi AI startups receiving funding" over the past two years, suggesting that DominAite arrives at a moment of growing momentum. By pairing investment from Blossom Capital with NTDP backing and curated access to enterprise and government stakeholders, the programme seeks to accelerate both inward market entry by international teams and the scaling of domestic AI companies.
If successful, DominAite could become a prominent on-ramp for founders targeting strategic economic sectors in Saudi Arabia, providing a concentrated package of capital, technical resources and local market pathways ahead of the Kingdom’s Year of Artificial Intelligence in 2026.
