The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has launched the Business Guidance and Establishment Office in Lusail to simplify company formation and provide dedicated support to investors and entrepreneurs. "For anyone starting a business, understanding the right procedures is often one of the biggest challenges," said a tech startup founder. "Having a dedicated office where investors can receive guidance and ask questions directly should make the process more transparent and efficient. It demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving the ease of doing business."

The new office is aimed particularly at reducing uncertainty for first-time entrepreneurs and foreign investors navigating regulatory procedures. Foreign investor Kavya V, who is exploring opportunities in Qatar’s professional services sector, welcomed the move, saying: "One of the most important factors for international investors is knowing where to go for accurate information. Doha-based entrepreneur Mohammed, who recently expanded his small business, highlighted the practical value for startups: "Many entrepreneurs have strong business ideas but are unfamiliar with licensing requirements or the sequence of approvals needed.
