In partnership with Antler.. Dubai Entrepreneurs launches an academy to support the establishment of startups

Dubai Entrepreneurship Headquarters, in partnership with global venture capital firm Antler, has launched the Entrepreneurship Academy, a six-week training programme designed to help aspiring founders in Dubai move from idea to implementation. The hybrid programme combines live and virtual sessions and brings together founders, investors and experts from leading technology companies including NVIDIA and Amazon Web Services to provide practical guidance and direct access to the local startup ecosystem.

"The academy aims to meet the needs of individuals wishing to launch their business projects, and gain experience, knowledge and confidence to enter this field," the Dubai Entrepreneurship Headquarters said in its announcement.

Program format and curriculum

The Entrepreneurship Academy is structured as a concentrated six-week course that offers a practical pathway into entrepreneurship. Sessions will be delivered through a mix of in-person and online formats, enabling broader participation while retaining hands-on elements of mentorship and workshops. Participants will be exposed to modules that cover opportunity exploration, idea evaluation, product building, and the operational requirements for launching and developing a project.

Organisers emphasise that the curriculum includes contemporary tools and methodologies supported by artificial intelligence, with the stated goal of accelerating the transition from concept to product. By incorporating AI-enabled workflows and resources from partners such as NVIDIA and Amazon Web Services, the academy intends to set new standards for how founders prototype, test and scale early-stage products.

Expert participation and ecosystem access

  • Mentors and speakers: The programme features a roster of founders, investors and technology experts drawn from both local and global ecosystems.
  • Corporate partners: NVIDIA and Amazon Web Services are named contributors, expected to provide technical guidance and tooling relevant to founders building AI-enabled products.
  • Venture backing and support: Antler, the global venture capital firm partnering on the academy, brings its experience in early-stage company formation and investor networks to the initiative.

Organisers say the academy will give participants "an organized practical path to entering the business world, and allows participants to know the mechanisms for exploring opportunities and evaluating ideas," framing the offering as a skills-oriented complement to existing startup support in Dubai.

Outlook and expected impact

The Entrepreneurship Academy is positioned to serve individuals at the pre-seed and early idea stages who need structured training, practical tools and network access to progress toward company formation. By combining Antler’s venture-building model with technical partners like NVIDIA and AWS, the programme aims to reduce time-to-market for early products and provide support to overcome common startup obstacles.

While no cohort size or application dates were disclosed in the announcement, the hybrid design and participation of major technology firms suggest the academy will seek to attract founders building AI- and cloud-enabled ventures. For entrepreneurs in Dubai, the programme offers an additional route to mentorship, technical resources and investor connections during the critical first steps of company creation.
