Ihab Badawi Launches Personal Brand Platform After Two Decades of Gulf Corporate Training

Lead

Master coach and corporate trainer Ihab Badawi has launched a personal-brand platform under his own name, transitioning from two decades of corporate training across the Gulf and a global footprint into a business-to-consumer model aimed at turning senior executives into service-based entrepreneurs. The Vancouver-based initiative combines accredited certification with sustained one-to-one mentoring to help professionals move from employment into independent careers as coaches, trainers, consultants, mentors or public speakers. Badawi has worked across 58 countries over roughly 25 years and has delivered programs for major banks, pharma, oil & gas, telecom and global consulting firms.

Direct quote

Badawi emphasized the practical gap his new program addresses: “the direct guidance on turning a credential into income.” He added on the phased rollout and market strategy, “I want to ensure the first phase's success before scaling.”

Context and details

After leaving the corporate world, Ihab Badawi built a human-capital optimization business focused on leadership development and certification. Since 2016 he has run corporate training and certification through The Coaches Circle Academy, accredited by international bodies that allow issuance of recognized credentials. The newly launched consumer offering retains certification at its core but adds extended mentoring phases intended to guide participants through strategic planning, business setup, personal branding, positioning, launching, landing initial clients, and scaling.

  • Target audience: Executives seeking freedom from the 9-to-5 and professionals preparing to transition to independent practice.
  • Program components: Accredited certification + one-to-one mentoring on strategy, business setup, personal branding, and client acquisition.
  • Industries of prior corporate engagement: Banking, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, telecom, and global consulting firms.
  • Geographic experience: Training and programs delivered across 58 countries; new base in Vancouver, Canada.

Badawi positions the offering as more than standalone certification, noting that “most people stop at the standalone certification courses or at the credential.” His academy previously helped many individuals become entrepreneurs through its accredited programs. The new programme reorients that experience toward direct commercialization of professional credentials, transforming participants into what Badawi terms Service-Based Entrepreneurs (SBEs).

The launch coincides with publication plans: Badawi's second book is in pre-publication after design sign-off in June 2026. His first book, The Rise of the Transcendence Leader Coach, was published in 2024. The rollout of his consumer offer will be phased, starting in the Gulf—where Badawi established his regional reputation—then expanding to Canada within two to three months and subsequently to Asian markets. That sequencing mirrors the market-proving approach he advises his clients to use: validate in a strong market before scaling.

Outlook

If the program follows Badawi's stated plan, the initial Gulf phase will serve as a testbed for methodology and client outcomes before broader international expansion from his Vancouver base. With accreditation already in place through The Coaches Circle Academy and a combined focus on credentialing plus extended mentoring, Badawi aims to address a known friction point for newly certified professionals: translating credentials into reliable income, time freedom and geographic independence.
