Healthcare startup Mykare raises $3.2 million funding
MyKare, an AI-driven healthtech startup founded in 2022, has closed a $3.2M Series A after an additional $1M investment from Papa.com cofounders and a Middle Eastern family office to accelerate AI and product development and expand internationally.

Healthtech startup MyKare has closed a Series A round that now totals $3.2 million after raising an additional $1 million (approximately ₹9.4 crore) from Andrew Parker and Alfredo Vaamonde, cofounders of US-based healthtech company Papa.com, alongside a Middle Eastern family office. The fresh capital will be deployed to enhance the company’s AI capabilities, accelerate product development and expand its footprint in existing international markets.
“The startup will use the new funds to improve its AI capabilities, speed up product development, and strengthen its presence in existing international markets,” the company said.
Founded in 2022 by Senu Sam, Rahmathulla T M and Joash Philipose, MyKare — also referenced as MyKare.ai — builds an AI-driven platform for clinics and hospitals that automates patient-facing and administrative workflows. The platform’s capabilities include patient acquisition, appointment booking, follow-ups, two-way communication, feedback collection and other administrative tasks via AI agents and voice AI.
MyKare’s AI agents are designed to handle incoming patient calls, respond to queries, update CRM records and support patient retention efforts for healthcare providers. The startup says it serves organisations across India, the Middle East, the UK and the US, positioning itself as a cross-border SaaS play in the healthtech space.
Funding details and strategic backing

- Notable investors in the latest tranche: Andrew Parker and Alfredo Vaamonde (cofounders, Papa.com) and a Middle Eastern family office

The participation of Andrew Parker and Alfredo Vaamonde—entrepreneurs behind US healthtech Papa.com—signals investor confidence in MyKare’s AI-first approach to healthcare operations. The involvement of a Middle Eastern family office also underlines the startup’s traction in that region and its ambition to deepen operations there.
MyKare will channel the capital to sharpen its machine learning models and voice AI, decrease product development cycles, and fortify its regional operations. Enhancements to AI agents are expected to improve accuracy in automated patient interactions and reduce manual administrative burden for clinical staff, enabling providers to focus more on care delivery.
Outlook
With $3.2 million in Series A funding, MyKare enters the next development phase where product maturation and go-to-market scaling are priorities. The startup will need to demonstrate measurable improvements in operational efficiency and patient experience to retain and grow healthcare customers across its target markets of India, the Middle East, the UK and the US. Backing from Papa.com’s cofounders and a regional family office provides both capital and potential industry connections that could accelerate partnerships and customer acquisition.
