Global Investment Summit Targets $3.5 Billion in Gulf Investment

The Global Investment Summit in Paris is targeting an initial $3.5 billion of Gulf investment into investment‑ready projects and expects to generate deals exceeding SR950 million (about $252.9 million), organisers announced for the two‑day conference set for Sept. 1–2 at the Palais des Congrès. Organised by Saudi investment group B&S Investments, the summit will convene more than 2,000 participants, roughly 100 speakers and a programme that includes 10 main sessions, 16 workshops and over 40 bilateral meetings aimed at moving capital into logistics, artificial intelligence, clean energy, infrastructure and tourism projects.

"25 percent of investments are targeted toward modern technologies, while environmental, social and governance standards are expected to be applied to 55 percent of targeted projects," summit data said, outlining the event’s twin emphases on technology and sustainability.

The summit positions itself as a direct matchmaking forum between Gulf capital allocators and projects ready for funding. B&S Investments is leading the initiative to bring together investors, policymakers, financial institutions and corporate executives at the Palais des Congrès in Paris to accelerate executable transactions rather than remain at the level of discussion. Programme organisers say the first day will centre on "The Future of the Sustainable Economy," covering renewable energy, industrial transformation, the circular economy, infrastructure and artificial intelligence, while the second day—under the theme "The Human and Experience Economy"—will focus on tourism, hospitality, creative industries, biotechnology and healthcare.

Organisers provided targets and expected outcomes to frame the summit’s ambitions. In addition to the $3.5 billion Gulf capital target and the SR950 million-plus of expected deals, the event projects potential European investment flows of approximately $28.59 billion into GCC markets, the development of 15 joint projects and the establishment of eight strategic partnerships within the first year following the summit. The event’s structure—main sessions, workshops and targeted bilateral investment meetings—is intended to give investors direct access to project owners and facilitate negotiations on site.

  • Lead organiser: B&S Investments (Saudi investment group)
  • Dates and venue: Sept. 1–2 at the Palais des Congrès, Paris
  • Capital target: $3.5 billion in Gulf investments into investment‑ready projects
  • Expected deals: more than SR950 million (≈ $252.9 million)
  • Sector focus: logistics, artificial intelligence, clean energy, infrastructure, tourism
  • ESG & technology targets: 25% to modern technologies; 55% of projects to apply ESG standards
  • Engagement scale: >2,000 attendees, ~100 speakers, 10 main sessions, 16 workshops, 40+ bilateral meetings

The organisers are explicit about outcomes: by pairing capital providers with vetted, investment‑ready projects they aim to shorten the time between commitment and deployment. Technology and sustainability are set as priority allocation themes, a positioning likely to appeal to Gulf investors seeking diversification opportunities beyond traditional energy assets.

Outlook: if the summit hits its targets, the immediate effect would be a sizeable pipeline of cross‑border deals and the launch of joint projects and strategic partnerships linking Gulf capital with European and international project owners. The projected $28.59 billion of potential European inflows and the establishment of multiple joint projects and partnerships would also deepen Gulf‑Europe investment ties. Summit organisers will report initial agreements and further details as negotiations conclude during and after the event.
