Riyadh will host the Global Blockchain Show on 29–30 June 2026, bringing more than 100 speakers, over 10,000 attendees and 100 exhibitors to the Kingdom, organisers announced on 26 February. Produced by VAP Group with support from The Times of Blockchain, the two-day conference is staged as part of a co-located event complex that also includes the Global AI Show and Global Games Show and offers a "One Ticket; Three Shows" option for cross-sector access. Organisers say the Riyadh edition follows a record-setting Abu Dhabi event in December 2025 and aims to convene investors, policymakers and technologists shaping Web3 and digital assets.

"This event is more than a conference; it's the global intersection of vision, capital, and innovation for Web3. Our speaker lineup reflects the calibre of thinking that will propel the digital-asset ecosystem forward," said Vishal Parmar, Founder and CEO, VAP Group.

Program and speakers

The show will present panels, matchmaking and exhibition space focused on blockchain innovation, investment and collaboration. Featured speakers named in the organisers' release include:

  • Abeer Alhumaimeedy — Associate Professor, King Saud University; Director of Web3 and Blockchain Lab, King Saud University / Advanced Era
  • Sultan Moraished — CTO, Red Sea Global
  • Ogle — Co-founder, Glue
  • Vit Jedlicka — President, Liberland
  • Billal Yamak — Chairman and Co-Founder, Web3 Alliance of Saudi Arabia (WASA)

Organisers highlighted a concentrated executive audience: 46% of the event’s projected 10,000+ attendees are expected to be founders or C-level executives. The agenda includes a VC Matchmaking programme intended to connect projects with sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors "actively scouting for the 'utility-era' platforms," the release states.

The release also pointed to a recent surge in local blockchain activity, citing 2,463 new blockchain registrations in Riyadh in the most recent quarter. VAP Group, which describes itself as a global consulting and media group focused on AI, blockchain and gaming with more than 13 years of experience, is positioning the event as an entry point for startups and enterprises seeking partnerships in the Middle East.

Outlook

With the conference co-located alongside the Global AI Show and Global Games Show, organisers are emphasising cross-industry collaboration between blockchain, artificial intelligence and gaming sectors. Attendees can expect exhibition space for around 100 companies, targeted investor introductions through the VC Matchmaking service, and panels drawn from more than 100 speakers over two days.
