Future Wealth Investments has launched a debut venture fund with a potential size of $60 million, targeting pre-seed to Series A start-ups across India, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore. The vehicle has a base target corpus of $50 million with a $10 million green shoe option, and will write initial cheques ranging from $250,000 to $5 million while keeping "significant reserves" for follow-on rounds. The firm plans to construct a concentrated portfolio of roughly 20 high‑conviction investments, with a sector focus on artificial intelligence, consumer businesses, supply chain and logistics, and hardware-led innovation.

"The most significant companies of the next decade are being built today in markets and categories that do not yet have a name. That is where we intend to be," said Rohit Kapoor, Managing Partner at Future Wealth Investments.

Fund strategy and team

Future Wealth Investments is led by Rohit Kapoor, who brings more than two decades of experience in private banking and wealth management with global institutions including HSBC and Crédit Agricole, alongside exposure to Southeast Asian capital markets. The firm is supported by an advisory board composed of founders of publicly listed companies in India and the UAE, and by a network of operators, investors and capital allocators across Silicon Valley and Asia.

Although the mandate is described as sector-agnostic, the firm has explicitly identified core interest areas: artificial intelligence (AI), consumer-facing businesses, supply chain and logistics, and hardware-led innovation. Initial cheque sizes are intended for founders at the earliest stages of company building, often "before formal market categories are fully defined," while maintaining reserves to back follow-on rounds for top-performing portfolio companies.

Existing investments and three-market thesis

Future Wealth Investments has already made investments across several sectors, underscoring its cross-border footprint. Portfolio names cited by the firm include:

  • Heads Up For Tails (premium pet care)
  • Tantrayut (satellite communications)
  • B4U Media (media network)
  • Mobipay (fintech platform)
  • Zippee (quick commerce)
  • Vivos (Asia-Pacific corporate services)

The three-market approach is designed to leverage complementary strengths: India for scale and a deep founder ecosystem, Singapore for access to institutional capital and connectivity across Southeast Asia, and the UAE as a growing base for India-origin founders building global businesses.

Outlook within the broader VC landscape

The launch of Future Wealth Investments comes amid sustained fundraising momentum in India’s venture ecosystem. Outlook Business notes that in 2025 India saw over $12.1 billion of new venture capital and private equity funds launched, a 39% year-on-year increase, with nearly 58% of those funds focused on early-stage investments. Established firms such as Accel continued to raise sizable India-focused funds, while first-time funds accounted for nearly one-third of total venture and growth capital raised in the period.

With a concentrated portfolio target, active follow-on reserves and a cross-border mandate spanning India, the UAE and Singapore, Future Wealth Investments aims to back early-stage founders building companies that may define new categories over the coming decade. The fund announcement was published by Outlook Business on 31 March 2026.
