Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), in partnership with logistics operator 7X, has launched ADEED – the UAE Supply Chain Support Platform – to bolster trade continuity and resilience across Abu Dhabi and the wider United Arab Emirates. The platform combines ADIO’s market insight and trade facilitation with 7X’s operational logistics capabilities to provide visibility and coordinated solutions for the movement of materials, industrial inputs and exports across air, road and sea.

“The UAE leadership continues to take proactive steps to ensure the resilience of our economy and supply chains, and ADIO is proud to support the vital manufacturing sector. By spearheading the ADEED platform, ADIO teams are providing businesses with guidance based on real-time market insights to help maintain supply chain continuity to advance Abu Dhabi’s economic growth ambitions. These initiatives underscore why Abu Dhabi remains a globally recognized destination for trade, manufacturing and investment,” said Mohamed Ali Al Kamali, Chief of Industry and Trade at the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).

ADEED’s core feature is an AI-driven conversational experience that guides users through a structured intake, automatically tags and qualifies requests and connects firms to the right service or expert depending on their stage in the import or procurement process. For users who have not yet identified suppliers, the platform links them directly to trade and transport specialists. Every request is monitored and orchestrated by an ADEED team that coordinates support across public and private partners to keep goods flowing.

7X will support fulfilment across domestic and international linehaul and related services, enabling practical operational responses to identified business needs. “ADEED reflects exactly the kind of public-private collaboration that builds long-term supply chain resilience, where public sector leadership and operational capability come together to support business continuity in a practical and timely way. Through our sector-wide network of strategic partners, 7X is committed to enabling responsive, coordinated solutions that keep supply chains moving, and to working alongside ADIO in ways that reinforce Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s standing as a resilient, globally connected trade hub. Building on this foundation, we aim to have ADEED extend its reach nationwide, bringing this support to businesses across the emirates,” said Tariq Al Wahedi, Group Chief Executive Officer of 7X.

The ADEED initiative brings together several strategic partners to ensure regulatory, customs and quality alignment, including:

  • Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED)
  • Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI)
  • Abu Dhabi Customs
  • Abu Dhabi Quality & Conformity Council (ADQCC)

ADIO has also launched a dedicated response team to provide timely guidance to businesses in manufacturing, the supply chain and adjacent sectors. Manufacturing remains a key pillar of Abu Dhabi’s non-oil economy, generating value added of AED30.5 billion in Q3 2025 and contributing 9.4 percent to GDP, according to Statistics Center Abu Dhabi. Under the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy, manufacturing is targeted to contribute AED172 billion to the economy by 2031 through deeper production, exports and industrial capability.

Looking ahead, ADEED is positioned as both a tactical trade-support tool and a strategic mechanism to reinforce Abu Dhabi’s role as a trade and manufacturing hub. With ADIO’s market guidance, 7X’s logistics orchestration and cross-agency partners, the platform aims to provide businesses with practical routes to continuity and to extend its reach across the emirates to support national supply chain resilience.
