Emirates NBD has provided a strategic financing facility to Cars24 Arabia to support the latter’s expansion across the UAE and to enhance digital automotive financing for dealers and business partners. The partnership establishes a collaborative, API-driven framework that enables eligible businesses to access, use, repay and replenish credit lines through a fully digital, compliant process, cutting processing times from days to seconds while enabling 100% straight-through processing.
“Cars24 Arabia has demonstrated consistent growth and a clear commitment to raising the standard for car buying in the UAE. This financing facility reflects our confidence in their trajectory and our commitment to delivering tailored digital financing solutions that directly support our clients’ growth ambitions. We are proud to support Cars24 Arabia as they continue to transform the automotive landscape in the region,” said Hamad Mohamed Zayed, Group Head of Business Banking, Emirates NBD.
The facility leverages Emirates NBD’s digital infrastructure and financial technology capabilities to allow Cars24 Arabia immediate, streamlined access to loan creation, utilisation and repayment. The direct integration of Emirates NBD’s automated capabilities into Cars24 Arabia’s platform delivers end-to-end, API-powered lending that eliminates manual intervention and provides continuous credit flexibility — allowing businesses to dynamically refresh limits upon repayment to maintain uninterrupted commercial momentum.
Deal mechanics and operational benefits
- API-driven, fully digital onboarding and credit management that supports 100% straight-through processing.
- Reduction of financing processing times from days to seconds through automated integration.
- Dynamic credit limits that refresh on repayment to support working capital and liquidity management.
- Designed to help dealers and partners scale operations quickly with compliant, real-time financing flows.
Abhinav Gupta, CEO of Cars24 Arabia, described the financing as recognition of the company’s growth and strategic direction: “This funding reflects the business we have built and the direction we are taking it. As a trusted partner, Emirates NBD understands the ambition and disciplined growth trajectory of Cars24 Arabia. Structured with flexibility and foresight, this deal sets a new milestone in our journey.”
Cars24 Arabia’s continuing UAE expansion framed the timing of the agreement. The facility is intended to support the company’s next stage of growth by improving access to working capital for the company’s dealer network and business partners. For Emirates NBD, the partnership underscores an ongoing focus on ecosystem-led digital banking and tailored solutions for regional businesses.
Outlook
The deal positions both organisations to capitalise on digital-first automotive commerce: Cars24 Arabia gains a faster, more flexible financing backbone to accelerate dealer transactions and inventory turnover, while Emirates NBD strengthens its role as a technology-enabled financier for sector-specific marketplaces. If adoption among eligible partners scales as intended, the transaction could serve as a model for further API-integrated lending products aimed at other vertical marketplaces in the region.
