Egypt's MoneyHash partners with Geidea to widen payment access in MENA
Egyptian payment orchestration startup MoneyHash has partnered with Saudi fintech Geidea to let merchants on MoneyHash route transactions through Geidea’s gateway across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, reducing integration overhead for cross‑market payments.

Egyptian payment orchestration startup MoneyHash has signed a partnership with Saudi fintech Geidea to give merchants on its platform access to Geidea’s payment gateway across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The deal allows businesses already integrated with MoneyHash to route transactions through Geidea’s online gateway without building or maintaining a separate connection, expanding payment coverage across key MENA markets.
“Businesses should be spending their time building great products, serving customers, and growing into new markets, not repeatedly rebuilding and maintaining payment infrastructure,” said Nader Abdelrazik, co‑founder and chief executive officer of MoneyHash. “Bringing Geidea’s strong regional payment capabilities into the MoneyHash ecosystem gives businesses a simpler way to access the infrastructure they need while we take care of the complexity behind the scenes.”
Context and platform capabilities
Founded in 2021 by Abdelrazik and Mustafa Eid, MoneyHash has developed a proprietary payment orchestration platform and an end‑to‑end payment operating system. After a successful beta launch in 2022 that attracted regional customers including Foodics, Rain and Tamatem, the startup launched its enterprise suite in October last year, targeting large enterprises with a unified payments solution.
- Funding: MoneyHash secured US$5.2 million in pre‑Series A funding early last year.
- Geographic expansion: The company has been expanding internationally, with partnerships already agreed in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Bahrain and Oman.
- Platform features: MoneyHash offers a single API enabling connection to multiple payment gateways, smart routing, multi‑currency processing and a unified dashboard.
Under the new arrangement, merchants using MoneyHash will be able to tap Geidea’s supported payment methods and online gateway through their existing MoneyHash integration. That removes the need for individual merchants to implement and maintain distinct connections to Geidea, while allowing MoneyHash to manage routing and gateway orchestration centrally.
Why the partnership matters
The collaboration pairs MoneyHash’s orchestration and single‑API model with Geidea’s regional acquiring and gateway presence in three important MENA markets. For businesses expanding across the region, the combined offering aims to reduce integration overhead and accelerate go‑to‑market timelines by providing one integration point to access multiple gateways and payment methods.
MoneyHash’s enterprise focus, underscored by last year’s enterprise suite launch, suggests the company is positioning itself as the payments infrastructure layer for merchants and platforms operating at scale across MENA. The startup’s early traction with clients such as Foodics, Rain and Tamatem provides reference points across retail, fintech and gaming verticals.
Outlook
With the Geidea integration live for UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, MoneyHash can offer merchants broader regional payment coverage without additional integration work. The startup’s stated strengths — smart routing, multi‑currency handling and a unified dashboard — will be tested as more enterprise customers seek seamless cross‑market payments. Continued partnership activity across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Bahrain and Oman will be a key indicator of how quickly MoneyHash can scale its orchestration model across a fragmented payments landscape.
