Dubai set to host global media, broadcast and space technology communities on Monday at CABSAT 2026 and SATExpo 2026
CABSAT 2026 and SATExpo 2026 in Dubai will bring together thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors across media, broadcast, pro‑AV and satellite/space tech, featuring companies and executives from regional and international players.

Dubai will host two major convergence events for media, broadcast and space technology communities from Monday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 7 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. The 33rd edition of CABSAT is expected to welcome more than 18,800 visitors, over 450 exhibiting companies and 700 brands from more than 120 countries, while the second edition of SATExpo is projected to attract 8,000+ visitors and more than 150 satellite, space and connectivity exhibitors from over 70 countries.
“As satellite networks grow more complex and spectrum environments increasingly congested, safeguarding the resilience, security and performance of critical communications is essential,” said Álvaro Sánchez, CEO of INTEGRASYS Group. “SATExpo 2026 provides an ideal platform to showcase advanced satellite communications, spectrum monitoring and management, interference detection and mitigation. We look forward to connecting with the regional satellite and space community, sharing our expertise and exploring opportunities to support the next generation of secure, high-performance satellite networks.”

The expanded focus on Pro AV comes as industry forecasts point to continued growth: AVIXA projects global professional AV industry revenues rising from approximately USD 332 billion in 2025 to USD 402 billion by 2030.
SATExpo focus and summit agenda
SATExpo, held alongside CABSAT and run in strategic partnership with the UAE Space Agency under the theme “Connecting the future”, will centre on satellite manufacturing, launch services, ground systems, downstream applications, connectivity and space-data analytics. Participating companies include Eutelsat, INTEGRASYS, ST Engineering iDirect, APSTAR, RSCC, Hughes and Space Communication Technologies.
- The SATExpo Summit runs across October 6–7: Day one will focus on “Connectivity & Intelligent Infrastructure”, covering satellite, 5G/6G convergence, direct-to-device connectivity, AI in orbit, cloud ground stations and multi-orbit strategies.
- Day two will address “Security, Sovereignty & the Business of Space”, examining cyber resilience, defence communications, space investment and commercial opportunities in deep space.
- Complementary features include a Satellite Innovation Showcase, a Matchmaking Programme, a Startup Zone and Space-Tech Demonstrations highlighting payloads, antennas, terminals, ground systems and space-driven analytics.
Organisers position the co-located events as distinct but complementary platforms: CABSAT for media technology, content creation, broadcast and Pro AV, and SATExpo for satellite, space and advanced-connectivity stakeholders. With extensive exhibition floors, targeted summit sessions and curated matchmaking, both events aim to facilitate commercial deals, technical collaboration and investor engagement across the media and space sectors.
