DESAISIV Launches AI Insurance Agent, Opens $8M Growth Funding Round - إنت عربي

Saudi insurtech startup DESAISIV has launched AI Insurance Agent, an artificial intelligence-powered platform designed to change how enterprises purchase, manage, negotiate and optimize corporate insurance programs, and simultaneously opened an $8 million growth funding round to scale its technology and market reach. The company says it currently serves more than 600 companies and enterprises, partners with 18 insurance brokers and insurers, and manages corporate insurance portfolios worth more than SAR 2 billion through its platform.

"Artificial intelligence transforms complex insurance data into actionable insights, enabling enterprises to make smarter decisions, reduce costs, and optimize their insurance programs," said Saed Al-Khawaldeh, Co-Founder of DESAISIV.

What the AI Insurance Agent offers

  • Compare insurance quotes: automated cross-provider comparison to surface competitive pricing and coverages.
  • Analyze and evaluate insurance policies: AI-driven policy review to highlight exclusions, overlaps and coverage gaps.
  • Optimize corporate insurance programs: recommendations to rebalance limits, retentions and carriers for cost-efficiency.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve risk management: analytics to pinpoint savings and inform mitigation strategies.

The launch positions DESAISIV as a provider of software-as-a-service driven decision tools for corporate risk and insurance teams. Mohammad Nabhan, Co-Founder of DESAISIV, described the company’s ambition in product terms: "We are building an AI-powered operating system for corporate insurance to make insurance management more efficient and transparent while supporting our expansion into new markets and insurance sectors."

DESAISIV's platform already aggregates and manages substantial volumes of corporate insurance data, which the startup says underpins its AI models and analytics. By serving more than 600 corporate clients and collaborating with 18 brokers and insurers, the company has built a commercial footprint and data network it intends to leverage as it enhances the platform’s automation and decision-support capabilities.

The newly announced $8 million growth round is earmarked to accelerate development of DESAISIV’s AI technologies, expand its product portfolio, strengthen strategic partnerships, and support expansion into new insurance segments. The company framed the fundraise as a vehicle to both deepen its technology stack and broaden commercially into additional verticals and markets where corporates need more transparent and efficient insurance management.

Context and market positioning

  • Scale: DESAISIV reports managing corporate insurance portfolios exceeding SAR 2 billion, evidencing significant policy volume and premium flow through its platform.
  • Partnerships: relationships with 18 brokers and insurers create distribution and underwriting touchpoints critical to enterprise adoption.
  • Customer base: more than 600 companies and enterprises using the platform provide a testbed for AI-driven product improvements and use-case validation.

Outlook: With the additional capital, DESAISIV aims to deepen AI capabilities that convert insurance data into actionable business decisions while expanding into new lines of corporate insurance. Continued platform adoption by its 600+ clients and collaboration with insurer and broker partners will be central to the company's ability to scale. If DESAISIV can translate its SAR 2 billion portfolio management track record into broader regional deployments, the firm could become a significant provider of AI-driven insurance operations for large enterprises in the coming years.
