Bahrain Bourse appoints Al Ramz Capital for equity research

Bahrain Bourse has appointed UAE-based Al Ramz Capital to provide independent equity research coverage for selected listed companies, a move aimed at enhancing market transparency and improving the availability of high-quality market intelligence for investors. Under the agreement, Al Ramz Capital will produce quarterly equity research reports on five selected companies listed on Bahrain Bourse, alongside a quarterly Earnings Flash Note, a comprehensive Earnings Overview, news commentary, market insights and a dedicated CEO Series offering direct perspectives from company management.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Bourse, said: "At Bahrain Bourse, we remain committed to strengthening the Kingdom's capital market by enhancing transparency, improving access to reliable market information, and creating greater value for investors and listed companies alike. The appointment of Al Ramz Capital represents an important step towards expanding the availability of independent, high-quality equity research that supports informed investment decisions and further enhances the attractiveness of Bahrain's capital market."

The mandate tasks Al Ramz Capital with delivering comprehensive analytical outputs for each of the five covered companies. Each quarterly equity research report will include detailed financial analysis, valuation assessments, investment insights and analyst recommendations. In addition to standalone company reports, Al Ramz will publish a quarterly Earnings Flash Note to capture near-term results and a more detailed Earnings Overview that aggregates and contextualises performance across the selected cohort.

  • Coverage scope: quarterly equity research reports on five Bahrain Bourse-listed companies.
  • Deliverables: detailed financial analysis, valuation assessments, investment insights, analyst recommendations.
  • Supplementary outputs: quarterly Earnings Flash Note, comprehensive Earnings Overview, news commentary and market insights.
  • Investor engagement: a dedicated CEO Series enabling investors to access management perspectives directly.

Karim Schoeib, Group CEO Investment Banking of Al Ramz Capital, commented on the collaboration: "We are pleased to partner with Bahrain Bourse on this important initiative and contribute our research expertise to one of the region's growing capital markets. Through our independent analysis and market insights, we aim to provide investors with comprehensive, objective research while increasing awareness of the investment opportunities available within Bahrain's listed companies and the Kingdom's broader economic landscape."

Al Ramz Capital is presented as a UAE-based financial institution with a regional footprint across the GCC and a recognised capability in independent research and institutional expertise. The firm operates a dedicated research team that covers regional markets and listed companies using market analysis and valuation models—capabilities Bahrain Bourse has leveraged to expand access to independent market intelligence for local and regional investors.

Officials cast the deal as part of wider efforts to strengthen Bahrain's capital market by building investor confidence and supporting the long-term development of the Kingdom's financial markets. By increasing the regularity and depth of publicly available research—plus adding management-facing content through the CEO Series—Bahrain Bourse and Al Ramz Capital aim to reduce information asymmetry and help market participants make better-informed investment decisions.

Going forward, market participants will be watching the initial quarterly reports and the Earnings Flash Notes for early indications of how the research coverage affects trading liquidity, analyst coverage breadth and investor engagement with Bahrain-listed firms. If the initiative succeeds, it could serve as a model for further partnerships to broaden independent research coverage across the market.
