Bahrain Akan Menghimpunkan Arkitek Ekonomi Masa Depan untuk Edisi Keempat Gateway Gulf November Ini

Bahrain will host the fourth edition of Gateway Gulf on 1–2 November 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, bringing together ministers, senior government officials, chief executives and influential figures from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America to discuss cross‑border partnerships and investment that can drive sustainable growth and economic resilience. The forum, organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), will convene some 200 senior decision‑makers for two days of high‑level dialogue, closed‑door meetings and an investment exhibition.

"Membayangkan Semula Perkongsian Global, Memacu Pertumbuhan Mampan," the event theme, frames discussions on how changing geopolitics, energy transitions and accelerating technology will reshape investment flows, connectivity corridors and strategic relationships that determine the global economic future.

Gateway Gulf positions Bahrain as a regional gateway with an economy diverse beyond oil: organisers highlight that non‑oil sectors contribute 86% of GDP. The forum will examine the Gulf Cooperation Council's growing role in global capital and talent flows, noting the GCC's combined economies exceed USD 2.38 trillion. The agenda is designed to probe capital mobility, evolving economic linkages, and the industries set to define the next era of competitiveness, including the rise of data‑driven and insights‑led economies.

Programme features and expected outcomes

  • Two days (1–2 November 2026) of high‑level dialogue, executive engagements and investment matchmaking.
  • Approximately 200 senior public‑ and private‑sector decision‑makers participating in closed sessions, curated networking and a dedicated investment exhibition.
  • A focus on translating dialogue into transactions: the forum highlights its track record of catalysing investment announcements and strategic agreements, citing more than USD 17 billion in deals and commitments announced at the 2025 edition.

The forum will explore how governments, investors and corporates can strengthen resilience and open new pathways for cooperation amid a more interconnected and complex global environment. Sessions will cover global capital flows and connectivity, the Gulf’s expanding role in shaping global growth, sectoral priorities for competitiveness, and the emergence of analytics‑driven economic models.

Gateway Gulf has previously drawn an international roster of speakers that included Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Bahrain EDB Chief Executive and Minister of Sustainable Development Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif. Other past participants have included Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al‑Khateeb; UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi; Lubna S. Olayan, Chair of The Olayan Group; Andrea C. Bonomi of Investindustrial; Sir Alastair King, DL; Sir Jonathan Symonds CBE of GSK; Mohammad Abunayyan, founder and chairman of ACWA Power; Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A and AirAsia; Martin Gilbert, chairman of Revolut; and Gabriel Escarrer, chairman and CEO of Meliá Hotels International.

Organisers say this year’s edition will emphasise actionable partnerships, with targeted meetings intended to convert strategic dialogue into investment commitments and commercial collaborations. As Bahrain presents its highly connected, business‑friendly ecosystem and diversified economy, Gateway Gulf aims to serve as a forum where public policy, private capital and corporate strategy align to shape the future economic architecture of the region and beyond.
