Korra Energi launches AI-powered assistant for investors in Egypt
Korra Energi has partnered with WideBot AI to roll out a smart virtual assistant that provides 24/7, instant responses to investor queries about the company’s shares listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX). The tool is designed to improve communication efficiency, boost transparency and make corporate data more accessible as Korra accelerates its digital transformation following its debut on EGX.
"The initial public offering (IPO) attracted nearly 17,000 shareholders to its ownership structure," said Ayman Korra, the company's founder and CEO, highlighting the expanded investor base that the new AI solution aims to serve.
The WideBot AI-powered assistant will allow investors to retrieve information regarding Korra Energi’s share performance, corporate announcements and other investor relations material at any time. Korra Energi described the collaboration as part of a broader strategy to leverage modern technology to improve the investor experience and facilitate faster access to relevant information and services.
Implementation of the chatbot comes as Korra Energi transitions into what the company has called a new phase of operations after listing on the EGX. The move to adopt an AI-driven communications channel is positioned to reduce response times for investor queries and to increase transparency around corporate actions, an important consideration for a company that recently brought nearly 17,000 individuals into its shareholder registry.

Beyond investor communications, Korra Energi is pursuing an active project pipeline. The company is studying a number of renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects aligned with national plans. Among the projects under consideration is a recently awarded energy contract in the West Suez Canal area valued at more than EGP 3 billion.
By integrating an AI assistant, Korra aims to streamline the flow of information to retail and institutional investors alike, reducing manual inquiry handling and allowing the company to scale its investor relations efforts without proportional increases in staffing. The adoption of AI tools also reflects wider trends among publicly listed companies to modernize investor engagement through digital channels.
Looking ahead, Korra Energi’s digital initiative and its ongoing project evaluations signal a combined focus on operational growth and investor transparency. The company’s CEO has connected the digital upgrade to its recent listing and expanded shareholder base, suggesting the AI assistant is intended to both service existing investors and support future capital-market activity as Korra advances its renewable and efficiency projects, including the EGP 3 billion West Suez Canal award.
