KARM BABA Ventures Raises ₹1 Crore at a ₹33 Crore Valuation to Accelerate Technology-Led Business Growth

KARM BABA Ventures Pvt. Ltd., the Gurugram-headquartered company behind the B2B marketplace KARM BABA, has raised ₹1 crore from anchor investors at a post-money valuation of ₹33 crore. Founded in July 2025 by entrepreneur Maanav Dahuja, the company says the fresh capital will be used to expand engineering and product teams, accelerate AI-powered SaaS development, strengthen its media ecosystem and deepen international trade partnerships. In its first year of operations the platform has enabled more than ₹6.30 crore in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and delivered 25X business growth since July 2025.

“When I started KARM BABA in July 2025, I had no office, no team and no guaranteed clients. What I had was a conviction that India's next generation of businesses deserves a trade and growth partner who actually shows up, does the work and builds something real,” said Maanav Dahuja, Founder & CEO, KARM BABA Ventures Pvt. Ltd.

Built on Dahuja’s early commercial experience—from door-to-door sales to rice exports, textiles and automotive trade—the KARM BABA platform aims to solve persistent discovery and trust gaps between manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, exporters and service providers. The company is DPIIT-recognised and positions technology at the centre of its expansion, with a fast-growing technology vertical that develops next-generation digital solutions around GPT-based systems.

  • Core initiative: the MANAV Mission, an AI-focused programme intended to improve operational efficiency and support digital transformation for businesses.
  • Verticals served include Textiles, Automotive, FMCG, Steel, Jewellery, Media and Real Estate.
  • Media assets include the Karm Karo Podcast as part of a broader media capability to support storytelling and brand building.

The company has also announced leadership changes to support the next phase of growth. Yogesh Mehta has been elevated to Co‑Founder & Chief Technology Officer and will lead technology strategy, product innovation, AI integration, SaaS development and cloud infrastructure. Garima Mittal has been appointed Director, Sales & Marketing to drive revenue growth, client acquisition and brand expansion across the Group's verticals.

KARM BABA has entered a strategic marketing and business development agreement with Expressway Landbase Pvt. Ltd., a North India-based real estate firm. Under the collaboration, KARM BABA will deploy its technology platform, digital marketing expertise, media network and business ecosystem to promote residential, commercial and investment-grade real estate projects. The tie-up reflects the company’s strategy of extending its growth ecosystem across sectors to create additional value for businesses and consumers.

Operationally, KARM BABA reports a multi-country footprint with operations and clients spanning India, Kenya, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, Iraq and Canada. The fresh capital is earmarked to scale cross-border trade initiatives and strategic collaborations that support that footprint, and to introduce new solutions designed to simplify business discovery, networking and international commerce.

Looking ahead, KARM BABA aims to leverage its combined marketplace, SaaS and AI products alongside media and marketing services to position itself as a technology-enabled B2B commerce enabler. “From a garage in Panipat, we have grown into a multi-country operation. We are looking for partners who believe that trade, technology and storytelling can be built into something that outlasts all of us,” Dahuja added, underscoring the company’s long-term ambition to build a trusted business ecosystem for enterprises expanding across borders.
