Dukhan Bank wins two Euromoney Islamic Finance Awards 2026
Dukhan Bank has been named Qatar’s Best Islamic Bank and Qatar’s Best Islamic Digital Bank at the Euromoney Islamic Finance Awards 2026, recognising the lender’s performance across Islamic banking, digital transformation and customer service. The double win highlights Dukhan Bank’s expanded retail, wholesale, private banking and digital banking operations and follows a period of product rollouts and strategic partnerships intended to broaden Sharia‑compliant services and improve customer accessibility.
Ahmed Hashem, Acting CEO of Dukhan Bank, said: “These recognitions from Euromoney reflect Dukhan Bank’s continued focus on innovation, customer experience, and delivering Sharia‑compliant banking solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Being named both Qatar’s Best Islamic Bank and Qatar’s Best Islamic Digital Bank reinforces the strong progress we continue to achieve across our strategic priorities, particularly in digital transformation and operational excellence. We remain committed to driving sustainable growth, strengthening our digital capabilities, and contributing to the continued development of Qatar’s financial sector.”

The Euromoney awards add to a series of recognitions for Dukhan Bank in 2026. Earlier this year the bank was ranked among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 Listed Companies in the Middle East for 2026. It was also named the World’s Best Islamic Private Bank by Global Finance for a third consecutive year and received the Best Business Card Offering in MENA 2026 award from MEED. Dukhan Bank has framed these accolades as reinforcing its position as a leading Islamic financial institution focused on innovation and sustainable growth.
Looking ahead, Dukhan Bank intends to continue strengthening its digital capabilities and product suite in line with its strategic priorities and national objectives. The bank has positioned these efforts as contributing to the continued development of Qatar’s financial sector and supporting broader economic goals tied to Qatar National Vision 2030, with an emphasis on operational excellence, customer experience and sustained, Sharia‑compliant growth.
