AmiViz has signed a strategic partnership with Cyberhaven to distribute the vendor’s Unified AI & Data Security Platform across the Middle East, expanding access to data-centric security solutions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt and other regional markets. The agreement positions AmiViz to deliver Cyberhaven’s full portfolio to government, banking and financial services, energy, healthcare and large enterprise customers while offering demonstrations, training, licensing and local support through its regional partner ecosystem.

“Traditional data protection was built for a world where data stayed inside defined boundaries”

Mohammed Karim, Cyberhaven Regional Sales Director – META, said: “Across the Middle East, organizations are adopting AI tools faster than their security teams can track where sensitive data goes. Traditional data protection was built for a world where data stayed inside defined boundaries, and that world no longer exists. Cyberhaven’s data lineage approach gives security teams visibility into how information is actually created, moved, and used across every application and workflow, which is fundamentally different from content scanning alone. As we expand our presence across the region and deepen our investments in local partners and customers, we’re focused on delivering that capability to enterprises that can no longer afford blind spots in their data environments.”

The partnership responds to growing concerns over insider threats, AI-driven data leakage and the complexity of hybrid work and cloud collaboration. Cyberhaven’s platform traces the complete lineage of sensitive data as it moves across applications, devices, users and workflows, enabling security teams to detect and respond to high-risk activity in real time. The vendor frames this approach as particularly suited to tackle risks introduced by generative AI and distributed workflows that traditional content scanning methods struggle to cover.

Ilyas Mohammed, COO of AmiViz, described the tie-up as aligned with a regional shift toward data-centric security. “Organizations need deeper visibility into how sensitive information moves inside their environments, especially as AI tools introduce new vectors for data exposure,” he said, underlining AmiViz’s intent to accelerate adoption through its established channel relationships across the Middle East.

Operationally, AmiViz will leverage its partner network to roll out the technology across multiple verticals. Customers in the targeted markets will have access to platform demonstrations, hands-on training, licensing and after-sales support managed by AmiViz. The distributor has recently been active in expanding its AI and cybersecurity portfolio, adding other strategic partnerships to address emerging enterprise security requirements.

Context and implications

  • Geographic coverage: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt and additional regional markets.
  • Target sectors: government, banking and financial services, energy, healthcare and large enterprises.
  • Product focus: Unified AI & Data Security Platform with data lineage, real-time detection and response capabilities designed for cloud, collaboration and AI-era risks.
  • Customer services: demonstrations, training, licensing and regional support through AmiViz’s partner ecosystem.

Looking ahead, the collaboration aims to reduce “blind spots” in enterprise data environments as adoption of AI tools accelerates. By combining Cyberhaven’s data lineage technology with AmiViz’s regional channel reach, both companies are betting organizations across the Middle East will prioritize visibility-first approaches to data protection to mitigate insider risk and AI-related exposure. The partnership will be watched by security teams seeking solutions that move beyond legacy content-scanning controls toward continuous, context-aware data security.
