7X and Abu Dhabi government entities partner to launch ADEED Platform to strengthen supply chain continuity and trade facilitation

7X, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi government entities, has launched ADEED, the UAE Supply Chain Support Platform, a new strategic initiative designed to strengthen business continuity across Abu Dha

On 31 March 2026, logistics operator 7X partnered with key Abu Dhabi government entities to launch ADEED, the UAE Supply Chain Support Platform, a strategic initiative designed to strengthen business continuity and trade facilitation across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. ADEED’s strategic partners include the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), Abu Dhabi Customs and the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC). The platform combines market intelligence, logistics orchestration and regulatory support to safeguard the flow of materials and industrial inputs linked to exports and domestic production.

“ADEED reflects exactly the kind of public-private collaboration that builds long-term supply chain resilience, where public sector leadership and operational capability come together to support business continuity in a practical and timely way,” said Tariq Al Wahedi, Group Chief Executive Officer of 7X. “Through our sector-wide network of strategic partners, 7X is committed to enabling responsive, coordinated solutions that keep supply chains moving, and to working alongside ADIO in ways that reinforce Abu Dhabi and the UAE's standing as a resilient, globally connected trade hub. Building on this foundation, we aim to have ADEED extend its reach nationwide, bringing this support to businesses across the emirates.”

How ADEED will operate

The platform is positioned as an end-to-end support mechanism for businesses facing supply chain disruption. It uses artificial intelligence to generate actionable insights into supply chain and trade operations, structuring requests, identifying gaps and connecting users with relevant trade and logistics expertise. 7X will mobilise operational solutions across air, road and sea linehaul services—domestically and internationally—as well as fulfilment-related offerings.

  • ADIO: Provides market insight and business support capabilities to offer visibility on movement of materials and industrial inputs, and to help safeguard trade flows and continuity.
  • 7X: Acts as the operational enabler, orchestrating logistics and transport across its ecosystem and partner network to ensure efficient movement of goods.
  • ADDED: Supports the emirate’s economic architecture and the integration of ADEED within Abu Dhabi’s commercial environment.
  • Abu Dhabi Customs: Strengthens supply chains by managing the logistics cycle across ports and addressing import and export challenges.
  • ADQCC: Ensures reliability of alternative sourcing through standards, conformity assessments and access to qualified suppliers to maintain supply chain continuity and quality.
  • ADCCI: Raises challenges through its Trade Working Group; every request is monitored and orchestrated with the platform’s network to facilitate timely support.

“The UAE leadership continues to take proactive steps to ensure the resilience of our economy and supply chains, and ADIO is proud to support the vital manufacturing sector,” said Mohamed Ali Al Kamali, Chief of Industry and Trade at ADIO. “By spearheading the ADEED platform, ADIO teams are providing businesses with guidance based on real-time market insights to help maintain supply chain continuity to advance Abu Dhabi’s economic growth ambitions. These initiatives underscore why Abu Dhabi remains a globally recognised destination for trade, manufacturing, and investment.”

Outlook

The partners say ADEED will act as a coordinated ecosystem to tackle potential disruptions and deliver reliable access to the materials and inputs businesses need to maintain production. 7X and ADIO highlighted plans to expand ADEED’s reach nationwide, while ADIO continues to work with industry partners to support the emirate’s long-term economic growth and to assist investors and businesses of varying sizes establish and scale operations in Abu Dhabi and beyond.
